Initial Review:

GLORIA is YUI's newest song for 2010, used as a campaign song for Benesse for students that will take exams. It is based on students' sent over to them. GLORIA is a right tempo song (not that up beat and not that slow as ballad). YUI's voice is soothing and fits perfectly well with the laid-back melody. The humming is a surprise addition to the song. I like how the bridge slows down and YUI's voice soars high. ♥

PS: I'm currently listening to YUI's GLORIA airing in School of Locks. It sounds sooo good and laid-back. Hopefully, someone's recording it!

To somewhat summarize the rumored "album details", here are the nifty tidbits of the post:
- SONY Control Number is SRCL-7219, which according to dso is close to the control number of the Stereopony new release on the same date --- which may suggest validness of this info.
- The album will contain 15 songs -- two songs more than the previous three original studio albums of YUI.
- It will contain YUI's previous singles --- not sure with SUMMER SONG because it was not included in the big blurb of words but maybe because it didn't had a tie-up.
- One more song in the album has a tie-up. And according to the "article", it is a BIG TIE-UP -- in promotion of the said album. Hmm interesting.
- Lastly, the DVD of the Limited Edition will contain the 6 PVs of the following songs: SUMMER SONG, again, It's all too much, Never say die, GLORIA and a new song. Silly SONY if this is the case! They have included all the PVs of these songs in the singles' corresponding Limited Editions! Hmpf.

As parting words, I am excited with this news (who YUI fan is not?) but we still need to validate the truthfulness of this news! But definitely this is something!

How are you doing?

Yah, "Good-bye days" is done. Hehe, some of you may think it's suddenly, yah, even me, I think so... I planned to pend it till next year though. Maa, but really, I don't know why and how, yesterday I decided to release it asap, then I worked on it from 8pm yesterday to 7h51am (this morning). And finally, YaY, time to release.

Good News!! Finally, a confirmation of YUI's new single next year. First of all, I would like to thank sapphire_niji and calpis37 for posting it in here first. Also, to dso and Fujii_Itsuki for the wonderful translation and first-hand news.

With her new single, YUI encouragingly pushes the back of aspiring high school students

YUI's first single of the year 2010, 「GLORIA」 has been confirmed to be released on 20th January.

The title song will be aired as Benesse Corporation's 「Shinkenzemi Highschool Correspondence Course」's CM song starting January next year. Facing towards the future, highschool students from around the country have been sending in their 「Attack Pledge」. And with these pledges in mind, YUI have started to create a 'cheering song' with an encouraging melody.

Her single 「It's all too much / Never say die」 which was released October this year, have also helped her become only the 3rd female singer-songwriter to have 3 consecutive No.1 single on the Oricon chart after Matsutouya Yumi and Utada Hikaru.

YUI Comment

Youthful days, I think it's really a time where people are inspired to do various kinds of things. And so, 「The way you live your life at that time, it really has the ability to change your whole life」. "Could everyone empathize with this feeling too?" I wondered (while creating this song).

Students that are preparing for exams, or even those involved in sports, those thinking "Now is the time to work hard!", I want all of them to listen to this song!

2010 will be the 5th year anniversary since YUI's debut. From just that, we can expect a more vigorous development/activities throughout the next year from her.
